Global Residency Option

Online MBA students have the option to participate in our Global Residency program. Spend a week abroad; visit and study companies in a foreign country while completing a team project and gaining a transformative view of business from another country’s perspective.

Graduate Certificate in Business Analytics (BA)

The optional Business Analytics Graduate Certificate can be integrated into the MBA curriculum. Earn an additional, credentialed skillset immediately upon graduating with a focus on the collection, study, and delivery of data to make better business decisions and predictions.

The MBA online program accepts applications on a rolling basis and is currently accepting applications. The program has Fall, Spring, or Summer start terms. Applicants for both the online and on-campus MBA should apply here.

Global Residency

The online MBA’s optional global residency gives students to the opportunity to travel for a week abroad, visiting and studying companies in a foreign country while completing a team project. To complete the global course requirement, students who cannot travel abroad take the online International Business Strategy course.

Certificate in Business Analytics

The optional Business Analytics Graduate Certificate can be integrated into the overall curriculum. Areas of emphasis include the collection, study, and delivery of data to help students make better business decisions and predictions in their future roles.

Please note that students are responsible for airfare to and from the residency location. Lodging, transportation during the residency, and some meals are included with tuition.

Tuition & Fees (2024-2025):
Tuition is $1,105.50 per credit hour. An additional charge of $35 per credit hour applies for a Distance Learning fee.

Can I take courses without applying?
Only students who are admitted to the Costello College of Business’ MBA program may take classes in the program.

How long does it take to complete the program?
The online MBA is 48 credit hours; complete in as little as 16 months or up to three years.

When are classes held?
MBA classes for part-time online students are offered in an asynchronous format, meaning they can be viewed interactively at your convenience. However, students still must meet all study deliverable requirements and deadlines.

What accreditation do George Mason and the MBA program hold?
George Mason University is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award bachelors, masters and doctoral degrees. The MBA program is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business Accreditation Standards.
