Program Description
The Data Literacy Online Certificate is a 12‑credit graduate program designed to equip teachers, building‑level leaders, and district‑level educators with the skills to create, analyze, and interpret student assessment data to improve instruction and student learning outcomes.
Through four carefully sequenced courses, students develop expertise in classroom‑based and teacher‑created assessments, interpreting both formal and informal student performance data, and using data to drive curriculum and instructional decision‑making.
Practicing educators apply these data‑literacy and assessment skills directly to their own classrooms or schools. Credits earned in this fully online data literacy certificate may be applied toward the Educational Psychology, MS, offering a pathway to advanced graduate study.
