Program Description
In the 18-credit hour Public Health Graduate Certificate, Generalist concentration, allows students to take up to six core classes required of the MPH program.

A certificate enhances a student’s job opportunities by providing an additional area of expertise to a student’s main area of work.
The certificate may also provide an opportunity to “try out” public health without committing to a 42-credit Master’s program.

Who should apply?
To be eligible for admission to this certificate program, applicants must have two years of full-time work experience and currently be working in a health-related field.

Financial aid is not offered for the Public Health Graduate Certificate, Generalist concentration.

Prerequisites
The typical student admitted to the Public Health Graduate Certificate, Generalist concentration has a GPA above 3.0. Students must have at least two years’ work experience in a health-related field in order to apply.
